Whose ready for some RACING?
Today is the 58th Daytona 500, and the weather is suppose to be perfect…Party cloudy, high of 75, and ZERO CHANCE FOR RAIN!
The GREEN FLAG drops 12:31pm (CST)…a.k.a… Milwaukee Time (since that’s where I live) If you live somewhere else you’ll have to do some math.
The other particulars:
Pre-race concert: Florida Georgia Line
Grand marshal (who gives the command to start their engines): Actor Gerard Butler
Honorary pace car driver: WWE star John Cena
Color guard: Patrick Air Force Base Honor Guard
Pre-Race Prayer: Senior Pastor Sonny Gallman of Central Baptist Church in Daytona Beach
National anthem: 82nd Airborne Division Chorus, Fort Bragg, North Carolina
Flyover: U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds

Youngest Pole sitter ever – Chase Elliot – 20 years old
Front row: Chase Elliott (youngest pole sitter ever) and depending on if he takes the inside or outside he’ll either have the #88 behind him or next to him.
My prediction: #3 will make it’s return to the WINNER CIRCLE when Austin Dillon takes the checkered later today.

Austin Dillon in the #3 (could this be this the 2016 Daytona 500 Winner?)
GOOD LUCK and a SAFE RACE to all the drivers
Kenseth should have held the inside line the last lap….he almost caused the “big one”.
