I’m Just Sayin’

I’m NOT a conspiracy theory type of person, but, coincidences and similarities? Sure, I can hang with those, sometimes they’re fun! In the case I’m about to lay out the similarities between the two incidents give Packer fans some water cooler conversation to have fun with through the playoffs leading up to Super Bowl 50.

As we all know by know the Packers won Sunday, defeating the Redskins 35-18 in their Wild Card game, and now move on to face Arizona in the Divisional Round … but, the rest that you may not know… or remember has ALL signs pointed toward bringing home the Lombardi trophy on February 7, 2016.

In 2010, the last time the Pack were in the Super Bowl they did each of the following just like this 2015 season:

Finished the regular season 10-6

Played the division winner of the NFC EAST on Wild Card Weekend

DeSean Jackson was one of the wide receivers on that team (Eagles)

Played the last game on Wild Card Weekend

The locations of NFC Teams with a “bye” started with an A & C (Atlanta, Chicago) – 2015 (Arizona, Carolina)

The two NFC Teams with a “bye” were named after a bird and a mammal (Falcons, Bears) – 2015 (Cardinals, Panthers)

Could possibly play the “bird” and “mammal” team in the same order. (2010 Falcons, Bears) – (2015 Cardinals then potentially Panthers provided they beat the Seahawks)

The Packers lost to both of those NFC “bye” week teams during the regular season.

In 2010 the Packers won the Super Bowl … In 2015 we’ll have to wait and see.

I know it’s all coincidence, just like the President Lincoln and President Kennedy parallels http://bit.ly/1P2AobP but it something to think about.
