Get ready Badger fans Bret Bielema may be BACK in the BIG TEN next year. Don’t worry he’s NOT coming back to Wisconsin, but could be back at Camp Randall in the near future.
Bielema might just be wearing the “Maize and Blue” next season after Brady Hoke gets the axe at the end of this one. University of Michigan’s Athletic Director Dave Brandon has already “resigned,” so why would the school hold on to the coach that he brought in, and that had their storied program beat down into mediocrity? They wouldn’t… that is why U of M alum and head coach of the 49ers, Jim Harbaugh’s name has been wafting in the wind this season as a possible replacement to coach the Wolverines.
Since Arkansas’ Athletic Director Jeff Long has been mentioned as possibly Dave Brandon’s replacement, he has entertained the notion that he would bring Brett with him. It makes sense for these reasons:
Bret knows the Big Ten and has had great success in the conference (as, we all know).
He would (for some reason) have a chance to “stick it to Alverez”
Bret would be able to get out of the SEC West, not to mention the SEC all together, since he hasn’t won a conference game there in two seasons (two games left in this season).
On Michigan’s end, Bielema is only getting about 1 million less at Arkansas then they paid Hoke, and as far as Brett’s $12 million dollar buy-out, well, we all know how certain things just have a way of taking care of themselves
So, if the Bret Bielema shuffle does come to fruition Badger fans won’t have to face him until 2016 at the Big House, and then in 2017 at Camp Randal unless of course the stars align and #karma occurs at the Big Ten Championship game next year.
Soowie. Wolverines !!!!!!
Hmmmmmm….let’s go hoggin’!
