The Packers rolled the Eagles 53-20 Sunday at the historic frozen tundra in Green Bay, and became only the 7th team (*list below) in NFL history to score 50+ points in back to back games. In week 10 they steam-rolled Da’ Bears 55-14.
I was fortunate enough to be at yesterday’s games as a fan and it was a blast! The temperature was in the balmy 20’s, some very light snow fell and Aaron Rodgers held court, passing the ball at will. That’s what I liked the most about Sunday’s game, the fact that even though the Packers were rolling they continued to keep their foot on the gas, and continued to pass the ball down the field. That is what a “Championship” caliber team does.
The Packers found just about every way to score (offense, defense, special teams) which made the game extremely fun and left me without a voice at the end of it. It’s obvious that this team is on a roll… hopefully not peaking too soon, because with all the cylinders firing like they are, Green Bay will be hoisting their 5th Lombardi Trophy on February 1, 2015.
GO PACK GO!
