The Front Row?…Not!

The phrase made famous by Brewer announcer Bob Uecker “I must be in the front row” will come to life at Miller Park this season, and subsequent years to come. On Friday April 25th, 2014, the Brewers will dedicate a statue of Uecker in his famous fictional seat.

The Uecker statue will “sit” in the last row of the long time “Uecker Seats” at Miller Park which are behind home plate in the Terrace Level, Section 422. There will be an actual seat next to the statue, perfect for having a beer or taking a picture with the Milwaukee legend.

Uecker quoted the infamous line “I must be in the front row” in one of his commercials during the mid 80’s Miller Lite All-Stars ad campaign, and has become a part of pop culture ever since.

The statue will be designed by Brian Maughan the same artist who designed the statues outside of Miller Park, it will be all bronze with color effects.
